Publishing Responsibilities and skills
- Managing the publishing team as Lead Publishing Producer.
- Managing several projects from concept through post-release for all SKU's and platforms, both physical and digital release. This includes overseeing the publishing planning & budget to deliver on time, on budget and to spec, performing milestone reviews, and taking care of submission to platform holders.
- Facilitating publishing services such as age ratings, localization and outsourcing.
- Being the main point of contact for all relevant stakeholders for these projects, carrying responsibility for ensuring continuous alignment.
- Managing publishing partner relations (i.e. developers, platform holders, service providers, et cetera).
- Reviewing and on-boarding possible new projects/developers, and preparing these projects to transfer them to the responsible publishing producer.
- Attending events representing the company. This includes giving talks, and meeting up with existing and new possible business partners .
- Keeping track of departments financial status and operations to report to the finance department for evaluation.
- Providing new business research & development (i.e. new titles, platforms, territories, services, et cetera).
- Collaborating with our legal team for contract negotiations and improving templates.
- Researching & developing new, and maintaining & optimizing existing, production & publishing procedures.
- Onboarding new team members, and managing, mentoring & supporting current team members and interns.
